People who need to reverse into their parking space. WHY?! Do they need to make a fast get-away? It is particularly annoying, as it typically involves a three point park job. At the very least.
I do this...especially at libraries... and can tell you why. When you are pulling in to a parking space you are much more aware of your surroundings because you are in the car, you have better visibility, and you have had a chance to scan the parking lot for children. When you are leaving someplace you might have to pack stuff into your car, you may be thinking about other things than driving, and you are generally less aware of your surroundings. More accidents happen when backing out of a space than when backing into a space.
